Some really good Resources
ZAMZAR is a free online file conversion tool. It allows you to upload files as well as convert things from URLs. Use it for grabbing videos from Youtube and converting them to quicktime. You can also convert files like AVI, MP4, or DVIX to quicktime.
VECTOR MAGIC is a new online tool created by the good folks at Stanford. Works just like Adobe’s live trace tool, but much better and more accurate. It is definitely worth using.

The vector magic site worked pretty well. I was surprised that it didn’t take a long time to do. I haven’t checked went to the other site yet but that seems as if it would come in pretty handy.

I had to use Zamzar a while ago when my boyfriend got a new computer and it worked really well.. I just googled them, so I was concerned that I would get hit with junkmail after I got the file converted (because they email it to you), but I didnt get anything. Vista is so horrible.
