Makeshift Screenprinting

Sorta happened upon this. Don’t know if anyone had seen this before, but I found it interesting. Don’t know if I’d try this for any projects in class without first trying it out for a personal project.

    Someone from our class did this… I think the only thing was that the image was a little blurry, but I’m sure it could be refined. Though, it actually seems more difficult than just getting that liquid emulsion stuff and using a work light…

    This could work. Emily did hers (the one Nick is talking about) using one of those cross stitching rings and panty hose. She used glue to make the stencil. The only problem was the pantyhose weren’t pulled tight enough.

    This method could work, but a screen can be bought for cheap. also most liquid based photo emulsion doesn’t like being in natural sunlight (Ulano TZ would be exposed in less than a minute, can’t brush that on outside). Nick is right buy a work light, and for ease do it in your bath tub.
