Behind the scenes…

You can learn a lot from watching how things are made behind the scenes. Here are some videos that I’ve come across lately that have great makings of.

The Seed above, and a making of it below.

This great video (below) directed by Geoffroy De Crecy for Rex the Dog is pretty much a how to video on stop motion as well.

Peripetics (below) is an amazing short by Zeitguised. The making of it (below the video) is a great insight into all of the planning and arranging and editing that went into the final project.

Its pretty interesting to really see how much time and effort it takes to complete videos like these. It shows that you really have to put in the time to create even a short video if you want it be successful. It also shows how much planning had to go into it in order to get it done accurately and to its highest potential.

omg, all i can say is awesome. my husband loved all these videos, and hes a mechanic, he kept telling me, wait stop, pause it. and showing me how many little things he had to make to change it. he was so excited and stunned at how much effort had to be put into those videos. not everyone gets enough credit for this stuff. ITS COMPLETELY AMAZING.
